The hotel had a beautiful historic exterior and a charming garden. The breakfast served was remarkable, with a variety of freshly baked goods, including the largest croissant I've ever seen! the location of the hotel was great, with easy access to key attractions in the area.
The room we stayed in had some drawbacks. The toilet and shower were squeezed into a small space, making it quite uncomfortable.

I had such a delightful stay at La Chancellerie! The beautiful garden and swimming pool were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the French countryside. Our host, Bertrand, was incredibly welcoming and gave us great recommendations for exploring the area. The breakfast was delicious, and I loved the local wine they offered. Despite a few minor inconveniences, I would definitely recommend staying here for a charming and memorable experience.

This place has it all - a swimming pool, beautiful gardens, and even pianos! It's a cyclist's paradise and the perfect base for exploring the Loire Valley castles. The wifi in the rooms and music rooms was a bonus. Plus, they charge extra for pets, just what everyone wants!
Nothing to complain about, it was sheer perfection.

We had a wonderful New Year experience at this hotel. The location was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions such as Chinon. The property itself was beautiful, with a charming building and a picturesque garden. One of the best aspects was the warm and welcoming hosts, who were extremely helpful and accommodating. They even organized a special New Year's party in a historic wine cave, which was a unique and enjoyable experience.
There were a few aspects that we were not satisfied with during our stay. the room we stayed in had low ceilings and beams, which made it uncomfortable for taller guests.

Spending Christmas at this stunning Maison was really a memorable experience. The beautiful garden, large swimming pool that was well heated even during winter, and the authentic building that felt like a small castle made our stay special. We were delighted with the attentive and friendly host who gave us a warm welcome on arrival and was always ready to provide advice and guidance on what to do and see in the area. Breakfast in the morning of freshly baked croissants and bread with delicious homemade jam, sausage, cheese, and fresh fruit in the cozy dining area was a perfect way to start the day.

The kids had a blast playing with the pool toys, ping pong, and petanque. The bed and breakfast even had a table tennis table for guests to enjoy. It kept the whole family entertained throughout our stay.
My children wanted more activities specifically designed for them.
